500g Strong White Bread Flour 7g Fast action Yeast 1 tsp Salt 1tbsp Sugar 30g Softened Butter 300ml Water
Step 1:
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and add the butter and the water.
Step 2:
Kneed the dough: Do this for about 10 minutes
First Proving: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour until double in size.
Step 3:
Shape the roll: Knock back the dough, divide in to 12 equal pieces.
Second Proving: Cover the roll with a clean cloth and let the rise for another hour.
Step 4:
Preheat and Bake: Preheat your oven to 220oC. Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Step 5:
Cool Down: Transfer the rolls to a wire rack to cool
