# Mary Berry's Soft Bread Rolls ##Ingredients **500g** Strong White Bread Flour **7g** Fast action Yeast **1 tsp** Salt **1tbsp** Sugar **30g** Softened Butter **300ml** Water ##Step 1: Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and add the butter and the water. ##Step 2: - **Kneed the dough:** Do this for about 10 minutes - **First Proving:** Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour until double in size. ##Step 3: - **Shape the roll:** Knock back the dough, divide in to 12 equal pieces.
